Association with Professional Bodies Dr.P.Ravindranath is actively associated with many professional bodies. He is a life member of All India Management Association, National Institute of Personnel Management, Operational Research Society of India, Indian Society for Training & Development, Institute of Directors and Global Management Teachers Consortium. He initiated the Kochi Chapter of Operational Research Society of India in 2016 as its Founder President.

Indo-American Chamber of Commerce The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), established in 1968, is the apex bi-lateral Chamber synergizing India-US Economic Engagement. IACC promotes bilateral trade, investment and technology transfer, facilitates business collaborations, joint ventures, marketing tie-ups and strategic alliances through a set of proactive business-oriented initiatives. Dr.P.Ravindranath joined Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in 2014. He helped in strengthening the Kerala Branch by adding new members and organising many programs. He was the Kerala Branch Chairman for 2 terms, i.e., in 2017-18 and 2018-19. The branch organised 24 programs under his leadership. did very well under his leadership, and he went on to become the SIC Member, Regional Vice President (South) and finally Regional President (South) in 2020-21. There were regular programs and activities in the region under his leadership in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic. He was elected to the National Executive Council of IACC for the term 2022-25.
Kerala Management Association
Kerala Management Association Dr.P.Ravindranath was a part of the management movement in Kerala for many years. He contributed to the management movement in many ways – as a management professional representing many Indo-American companies having global network in the state and nationally, as a management teacher and researcher, as a mentor to many management students, and also by taking up many leadership roles in Kerala Management Association which is the largest professional body of Managers in Kerala. He started his association with Kerala Management Association (KMA) in 1987. He has held various offices in the Kerala Management Association which include Hon. Joint Secretary for two terms (1991-93), Hon. Secretary (1993-94) and Vice President (2006-07) before becoming the President in 2007-08, the Golden Jubilee Year of KMA. During his presidentship many new initiatives were launched by KMA. There were 65 programmes organised by KMA during the year. He was also the Executive Trustee and Chairman of the KMA Management Education Trust. The Trust has initiated a Post Graduate Diploma Program for Management Teachers during his year jointly with IGNOU. He was also the Chairman, Editorial Committee of K-MAN, the Quarterly Management Journal of Kerala Management Association during 1991-92 and 1996-97. He was also chairing different committees during the period 1991-2004. Dr.Ravindranath is a life member of All India Management Association, Kerala Management Association and Coimbatore Management Association. All India Management Association conferred a Fellowship on him for his outstanding contributions to the management movement.
